For our European Headquarter in Munich we are seeking qualified candidates to fill the position:

FP&A Specialist (m/f/x) Mid Size Countries

The Position:

We are looking for a forward-thinking and results-oriented member of the FP&A Platform team within the Mid Size Countries (MSC) in the EU/CAN region who has experience with financial operations, processes and tools.

In this exciting role, you will report to the Mid Size Countries FP&A Team Lead and will work closely with different Finance teams and business functions across the European organization with key stakeholders in the EU/CAN countries as well as in the regional Headquarter.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Business Partners within the MSC markets in their day to day operations including planning and reporting cycles

  • Improvement of processes and related tools together with all stakeholders to increase efficiency and transparency

  • Execute cross–functional and cross-regional operations within a defined scope of responsibility in all Finance related subjects

 

Tasks:

  • Processes and Training
    • challenge and optimize existing processes and tools and contribute to design discussions for reporting standards, processes and templates 
    • coordination of knowledge transfer between MSC countries
  • Reporting
    • Preparation of standard as well as on-demand reports for local, regional and global receivers within legal and management functions; effectively communicating key takeaways
  • Planning
    • Support Finance Business Partner in the MSC markets with gathering, consolidating and validating plan data
    • Entering plan data in the respective planning tools ensuring a high standard of data quality following Daiichi Sankyo rules and standards
    • Perform analysis of sales or cost items supporting a solid planning outcome on single market as well as on MSC level
    • Retrieve data from respective systems to pre-populate business review presentations
  • AdHoc Operations
    • Become a crucial member in various projects around best practice process and operation improvements by constantly challenging the status quo across MSC markets

Personal Skills & Professional Experience:

  • Degree in business administration or a related degree with a focus on Finance and / or Controlling

  • +3 years of experience in Controlling, Finance and Accounting with experience in financial operations, finance planning & modern reporting tools

  • Result oriented with a strong affinity for numbers in financial context that enables you to quickly think your way through complex tasks

  • Highly organized, prepared to be ‘hands on’ to deliver project success

  • Team player with positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • International work experience in matrix organizations and/or multicultural teams 

  • Excellent language proficiency in English (at least C1)

  • Position will involve travel activities
