We are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position:

Medical Information and Data Communication Director (m/f/x)

Purpose of the function     

Drive generation of scientifically high-quality documents for Medical Information service to external and internal customers as well as supporting Medical team colleagues with preparation, communication and training of scientific data / medical materials.                                     

Roles and Responsibilities                                        

Ensure that all European SBD Medical Information functions can provide timely responses across the Theraputic Area (TA) in line with strategy

 

  • Proactively drive developing, approving and sharing European Standard Response Documents, clinical product documentation, tailored responses and medical/scientific materials focussed on the therapy area and drug portfolio
  • Develop together with cross-functional team key scientific messages for cardiovascular portfolio to support communication in publications, customer insteractions and scientific material development
  • Lead European Medical Information Taskforce to ensure consistency and alignment in communication of medical information and conduct regular trainings on Medical Information requirements and content across the organization
  • Coordinate & align all MI related Medical Operations activities & transfer of knowledge between DSE, other regions in CV TA (e.g. US, Jap, ASCA, Global) and license partners

 

 

System owner of the European Specialty Medicines Medical Information Platform 

 

  • Responsible for continuous functioning, maintenance and upgrading of Med Info Inquiry Management Platform

  • Ensure generation of reports to understand key areas of medical inquiries / clinical interest and presenting to wider medical affairs functions and cross functionally

  • Collect and provide medical insights gathered in the field     

 

 

Collaborate with relevant functions who support in the development and release of medical content for product texts, patient information as well as advertising materials and scientific communication material

 

  • Responsible for Material development for in-field roles; Creation of product launch tool kits; Collaboratively developing training and educational materials; Congress support

  • Review promotional material (Information Officer)

  • Give expert scientific input in interpreting the key messages, observing data gaps and drafting scientific responses

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of training courses in the portfolio therapy areas

  • Review product-specific websites’ or company-sponsored websites’ content for accuracy

 

Personal skills and professional experience:

  • Degree in Pharmacy and/or post-graduate qualification (PhD preferred)
  • Strong scientific background and mindset demonstrated by extensive, successful post- graduate studies proved
  • Strong skills in writing and publishing medical / scientific documents
  • Working knowledge of European GDP, Medical information and PV legislation, MEDISYS
  • Knowledge of ABPI, EFPIA and IFPMA Codes of Practice, Certification in drug information
  • Ability to navigate through processes and related details and to deal with complexity
  • Confident and professional communication style
  • Excellent team player with an analytic, proactive and goal-oriented attitude
  • Fluent English, additional EU language advantageous
  • Highly collaborative, agile style of working
  • MS office, confidence in using various database
