Roles and Responsibilities
- • Act as a business partner for the Irish affiliate to provide expert HR guidance and advice (including membership in the leadership team.
- • Responsibility for operational and strategic HR management for the affiliate.
- • Advising and supporting line managers and employees in the areas of personnel management, recruitment, appraisal, remuneration, development and retention
- • Plan and execute recruitment and selection of candidates
- • Provide management of all employee relation issues including performance management, disciplinary and complaints
- • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures with respect to internal and external rules and regulations
- • Maintain professional knowledge including employment/labor law
- • Ensure all aspects of HR administration are completed in an accurate and timely manner
- • Excellent knowledge of our HR systems and ensure a well-maintained system
- • Handling of the entire personnel administration and payroll, from the preparation of employment contracts and references to the registration of social insurances and the preparation of monthly payroll processing for the external provider.
- • Planning and execution of annually recurring processes (e.g. salary and bonus systems, etc.)
- • Coordination, management and execution of international and local HR projects
- • Mobility (fleet), Facility, Office Management, Health & Safety and Sustainability also fall within the scope of the Head of HR.
- • Accountable for corporate communications for the affiliate in close cooperation with the international headquarters. The execution of the corporate communication tasks is done by the Head of HR as well.
Education & Experience
- - Higher degree (University/Bachelor with specialization in HRM is an advantage)
- - Excellent knowledge of the Irish labor and social security law.
- - Excellent language: English, written and spoken
- - Proficient knowledge of MS Office, experience with SuccessFactors is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable HR function in an international environment
