For our EU regional headquarters we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position:
Senior Manager (m/f/x) Medical Information Oncology and Haematology EUCAN
The role can be based in any country where we have an affiliate, with the exception of Belgium, Greece, and the United Kingdom.
The Position:
The Senior Manager Medical Information Oncology and Haematology EUCAN will contribute to the day-to-day Medical Information tasks, guided by the Head of Medical Information. He/She/They will ensure the highest standards of documents are made available to regional markets and customer service, with regard to the quality of responses and turnaround time, whilst maintaining compliance with DS and potentially relevant partner SOPs. The Senior Manager will also coordinate the Information Officer tasks according to AMG §74 for Daiichi Sankyo (DS) Oncology for DS products in Europe.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Supports the Head of Medical Information:
- Development, approval, and sharing of European Standard Response Documents in Oncology
- Support (where instructed) Medical Operations activities in the Medical Affairs department
- Support and lead the implementation of digital tools and Medical Information documentation systems in countries and regions
- Conduct regular trainings on Medical Information processes and content
- Update existing reports and plan additional reports where required
Coordinates with compliance and legal functions the approval flow of all DS documents falling under the AMG §74 rule:
- Identify the optimal flow and ensure no documents are missed
- Critique, review, and sign off documents as appropriate
- Liaise with regional reviewers to ensure a good standard of work and a productive and smooth approval process
Personal Skills and Professional Experience:
- Life science degree (ideally at least master’s level) or medical degree, preferably with relevant specialist experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry; preferably previous experience in document review and sign-off, ideally at Information Officer level
- Clinical or industry experience in Oncology and/or Haematology is desirable
- High proficiency in digital media tools and hands-on experience managing documentation systems within Medical Information
- Good knowledge of European healthcare systems and drug law
- Proactive, integrative, and conceptual personality with leadership skills
- Result-oriented and customer-focused, with the ability to work in a matrix organization and manage interfaces with different stakeholders (internal & external)
- Team player, open-minded, and highly motivated
- Strategic mindset and strong communication skills
- Fluent in German and English
