Head (m/f/x) of Global Experienced Hire & Early Career Talent Acquisition Responsibilities

 

The Position:

This role leads the global design and execution of innovative hiring strategies for experienced and early career talent across multiple business units and regions. It involves leading and inspiring a team of Global Business Unit Talent Acquisition Leads, ensuring alignment between strategic workforce planning and operational excellence while advising senior business leaders. Spanning Daiichi Sankyo Europe, United States, Japan, and beyond, this pivotal position shapes the future of talent acquisition in a dynamic, evolving business landscape.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the Global Talent Acquisition strategy and lead Global Business Unit TA Leads to achieve goals and foster a positive, high-performing environment. Design recruiter development programs and guide regional teams to ensure consistent global practices while managing budgets and resources.
  • Program Development and Standardization: Standardize recruiting policies and tools to deliver a consistent global experience, partnering with hiring managers to define role criteria. Lead the creation of global early career talent programs.
  • Operational Oversight and Coordination: Ensure a smooth and engaging candidate journey from application to onboarding, oversee cross-regional recruitment efforts for senior roles, and lead global TA projects to improve hiring practices for experienced and early career talent.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Act as a strategic talent advisor influencing hiring leaders and prioritizing recruitment globally. Collaborate with HRBPs, external partners, and Employer Branding to align recruitment efforts and employer messaging, and support HRIS program development.
  • Reporting and Improvement: Monitor and analyze TA performance to identify improvements, manage headcount tracking and recruitment prioritization, and provide accurate hiring data for leadership. Drive benchmarking, develop KPIs, and ensure TA practices promote inclusion and diversity.

 

Personal Skills and Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably Master’s degree
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience in experienced hire and/or early career talent acquisition or alternative relevant experience required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing direct reports and preferably leading global recruiting teams preferred
  • Experience in full-life cycle experienced hire recruiting for pharma and/or biotech companies required
  • Experience managing global or multicultural project delivery and developing talent acquisition strategies and programs preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of experienced hire and early career hiring trends, processes, technologies, and systems.
  • Proven success in driving rapid organizational growth through best-in-class talent acquisition practices and data-driven workforce planning.
