Key Responsibilities:

 

The Commercial Excellence Manager partners with Daiichi Sankyo’s commercial and medical teams to truly understand the customers, and proactively respond to their needs, ensuring Daiichi Sankyo’s rapid adaptivity to the changing environment and optimal achievement of its business objectives. This position is reporting to Marketing Director and has a team management responsibility.

 

  • Creates a thorough and accurate understanding of the healthcare environment and anticipates changes that require adaptations to Daiichi Sankyo’s commercial operating model;
  • Acts as a business partner translating Daiichi Sankyo’s different departments’ needs regarding Digital and Commercial Excellence into solutions that improve customer proximity and intimacy. Challenges the Brand Teams and initiates dialogue based upon accurate market insights; 
  • Establishes best in class management tools and balanced scorecards to better inform business reviews and create a robust platform for business review cycles;
  • Ensures, based on the agreed customer relationship management strategy and subsequent selection and alignment of tools (CRM, CLM, KOL databases,..), the optimal platform for DS current and future product portfolio. With the aim of leading and enabling the organization towards a 360° view of its customers, connecting multiple channels as well as various customer facing roles. 
  • Maintains and improves the effective use and efficiency of the CRM system and its correlated analytical tool with the purpose of enhancing its functionalities in order to support the Customer Facing Roles in the management of their stakeholders.
  • Leads and coordinates the processes of Sales Force geographical reorganization, targeting, segmentation and profiling of customers;
  • Designs and develops the CFR incentive scheme and relevant metrics together with the Sales Director to drive best in class performance across the regional teams and a culture of continuous improvement;
  • Acts as primary contact for EU Mid-Sized Countries Commercial Excellence department on national Commercial Excellence issues, ensuring local market-specific requirements are accounted for in and aligned with EU Mid-Sized Countries Commercial Excellence strategy and maintaining a cooperative working climate between all parties.
  • Develop and maintain the data model (in PowerBI / Microsoft Azure) and dashboards, combining data from different sources (IQVIA, Ex-factory Sales, CRM data, other Digital data, etc...).
  • Ensure also the description and understanding of the local data catalog to support the design of our customer journey (powered by data) included Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics projects.
  • Support Marketing in the implementation of Omnichannel strategies and training programs.
  • Act as a SPOC for MSC for all European Omnichannel initiatives.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor in Engineering, IT, Statistics, Management or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of sales and  commercial support, business analysis experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Fluency in English
  • High level of analytics and insight generation required
  • Must have proven abilities in strategy development, market analysis and strategy implementation
  • Strong organization and project management skills; ensure accurate planning, follow-up and progress of actions; correct and timely identification of stakeholders;
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deal with complex problems, understanding the coding languages
