Head of Translational ADME & Safety Science (m/f/x)


Key responsibilities

  • Provide inspirational and visionary leadership in area of translational ADME & Safety Science
  • Proactively seek for and develop innovative technologies supporting ADME and safety characterization to improve the success rate of pre-clinical candidates and advances them through clinical development for unmet medical needs of patients
  • Lead, coach, develop and motivate the Translational ADME & Safety team at TCRM
  • Manage Translational ADME & Safety team objectives, priorities, budget, and timelines
  • Collaborate with multiple international cross-functional teams and external experts to develop scientifically rigorous strategies for assessment of pharmacokinetic properties and safety of new drugs using human biospecimen
  • Partner with senior leaders in the drug discovery and development to ensure alignment, management and delivery of milestones in drug development
  • Function as a scientific and business thought-leader inside and outside of the company and a key link to external scientific community in the DMPK and safety field and represent the Translational ADME & Safety team internally and externally


Qualifications and competencies

  • Ph.D. in Life Sciences and a minimum of 10 years industry experience
  • Leadership experience of at least 3 years
  • Deep expertise in the field of Drug Metabolism/Transporters and PK
  • Thorough expertise in establishing and running preclinical studies
  • Familiarity with mathematical modeling techniques for predicting /PK and In vitro to in vivo extrapolation (IVIVE)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and collaboration skills with demonstrated networking capabilities
  • Outstanding analytical, research and organizational skills
  • High multitasking capabilities
  • Growth mindset and innovative spirit
