Brand Manager Breast Cancer (m/f/x)


Position and Key Responsibilities:

In your function you will drive all relevant marketing activities at the local level together with the Indication Lead Breast and report directly to the Commercial Head Oncology.


Your primary role will be the in-depth understanding of customer needs and matching these insights with the strategic imperatives of our products while enhancing the stakeholder engagement.


  • Develops and delivers content marketing items that best suits customer needs for our leading brand in Breast Cancer in close collaboration with the European Brand Leadership
  • Develops a clear understanding of customers’ needs in Breast Cancer and supports the strategic direction of Daiichi Sankyo Oncology Germany for each channel
  • Creates customer engagement platforms and initiatives to drive product preference and usage via non-traditional sales and marketing tactics. (e.g. Campaign E-mails, E-detailing, virtual learning platforms, Portals, Apps)                     
  • Develops strategies together with business marketing stakeholders to increase value added programs & services beyond the Daiichi Sankyo representative and to achieve the sales objectives of new launches
  • Supports annual brand and budget planning cycles
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with other key team members and with external commercial partner to ensure that synergies are captured         
  • Manages the internal Legal & Compliance and Medical review and approval of new materials
  • Supports the Commercial Head in the planning and preparation of the activities arising as part of the Alliance agreement                                                                                                                                                                                              


  • 2+ years’ experience in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field; additional qualification / experience in Digital Marketing is a plus
  • prior Marketing/Commercial experience, ideally in Oncology as a local Product Manager
  • Experienced in developing Marketing strategies and implementing solutions
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate effectively and push things through / across a matrix organization
  • Strong accountability with demonstrated ability to work in teams, ideally in a cross-functional environment, as well as autonomously without constant monitoring
  • Excellent Project Management capabilities
  • Innovation mindset & technology experience preferred
  • Flexible to changing priorities in a fast moving environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
  • Hands on" mentality
