Business Architect (m/f/x) Demand & Supply Planning Solutions
The position:
Join our team as a Business Architect (m/f/x) for Demand & Supply Planning Solutions, where you'll be responsible for the design and technical configuration of planning solutions within our global ERP environment. Collaborate with supply chain teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating optimization initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of ERP technologies and effective collaboration with external partners.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage supply & demand planning solutions in a global ERP environment, ensuring alignment with business requirements
- Oversee operations of demand & supply planning solutions, including incident and change management
- Configure SAP IBP and SAP ICSM for planning activities, translating business requirements into processes
- Manage system integration between SAP IBP/ICSM and other systems in the ERP landscape
- Optimize supply chain planning processes and implement improvements
- Resolve system performance issues in collaboration with stakeholders
- Document system changes, ensuring GxP alignment, and coordinate testing for new implementations
- Collaborate with teams for successful SAP IBP and ICSM module implementation
- Provide consulting for new and existing SAP IBP/ICSM projects and facilitate requirement workshops
- Analyze complex business processes, document requirements, and coordinate interface issue resolution
- Utilize technologies like SAP IBP, ICSM, S/4 HANA, and integration platforms
Professional Experience & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a multinational environment with a strong customer and service-oriented focus
- In-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience in business processes in supply chain, especially SAP logistics processes (SD/MM) and demand & supply planning business processes in IBP and ICSM
- Very good knowledge of supporting applications and workflows such as CI-DS integration, BTP integration, SAP SAC integration etc. Ability to work on integration and interfaces with other systems
- Proven experience in managing internal and external suppliers, ability to understand business requirements related to IBP and ICSM planning processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills as well as the ability to manage conflicts
- Good documentation skills and knowledge of GxP requirements
- Nice to have: relevant experience in pharmaceutical supply & demand planning technologies such as SAP EWM, SAP QM, SAP GTS and LSP/3PL integration
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in German or another European language is a plus
