Commercial Excellence Manager Oncology (m/f/x)

The Position:

We are looking for a Commercial Excellence Manager for our growing Business Division Oncology Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and implementing the Commercial Excellence strategy, as well delivering analyses and critical business insights to inform our strategy in Oncology. The role reports to the Head Business Insights & Operations Oncology Germany.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head Business Insights & Operations Oncology, the First-line Sales Manager and the Marketing Team to define the Commercial Excellence strategy and needs (e.g. Sales Force Effectiveness, Channel Effectiveness, Account Planning, Performance, Training)

  • Provide recommendations to maximize commercial execution and competitiveness by continuously evaluating, assessing and optimizing go to market strategies and business models

  • Work closely with the Commercial Operations Manager for the segmentation, targeting, and account planning

  • Support the development of the Business Insights dashboards for marketed and launch products

  • Synthesize findings and market analyses, and develop and discuss recommendations with the Commercial Leadership

  • Work closely with the cross-functional Brand team and establish analytics to shape the omni-channel strategy

  • Work with the DS Cardiovascular Commercial Excellence team to exchange and implement best practices in the Oncology team

Professional experience and personal skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics or related field; alternatively, an adequate qualification with relevant experience might be considered

  • Several years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical technology industry or a consulting company

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Proven experience with CRM system, PowerBI dashboard preferred

  • Strong accountability with demonstrated ability to work in teams, ideally in a cross-functional environment, as well as autonomously without constant monitoring

  • Flexible to changing priorities in a fast moving environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English

  • Hands-on mentality
