Congress and Events Lead (m/f/x)

 

The position:

Join our Commercial Operations group and be part of an exciting journey delivering and continuous improving customer experience. The team lead is responsible for setting strategic framework and standards for events and congresses focusing on customer experience. He/She is defining the right focus for the team and is acting as internal consultant to advice on the different approaches to events and congresses. He/She is responsible for maximizing customer experience during live or remote engagememt focusing on customer needs. He/She is together with the team delivering state of the art event management for both BUs.
You have congress management experience and are focused on continuous improvement. You have successful experience delivering state of the art events building impactful customer experience. You combine hands on mindset together with strategic decision making skills. You are a passionate individual and are committed to bring value to patients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sets strategy and standard for events and congresses focusing on customer experience (Live, remote)
  • Implements that strategy and standards in all external and internal events together with the team
  • Defines Metrics to continuously improve customer experience during events
  • Ensures all meetings and materials meet SOPs and industry guidelines
  • Manages the oversight of third-party suppliers/agencies and supports the team delvering synergies 
  • Defines Metrics to manage successful implementation of strategy (Customer experience, Brand, Financial and customer engagegement KPI's)
  • Leads a team with the ability to manage and deliver on several simultaneous events/projects

 

Personal skills and professional experience:

  • MBA/ marketing degree
  • Up to 7 years experience
  • Experience in congress and events management in pharma
  • Hands-on proactive approach and accountability
  • Good communication and strong social skills
  • Experience to work in and lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Ability to work in English - fluent written and spoken, additional language is a plus
