For our headquarter in Munich we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position:

 

 European Brand Director Cardiovascular (m/f/x)

 

 

Purpose of the function:

 

The European Brand Director will be part of the European Cardiovascular marketing department and will be accountable for cross-functional support to affiliates, driving the growth of Lixiana in Europe. He/She will be driving  the implementation of the brand strategy accross functions and throughout Europe. He/She will contribute to increase customer effectiveness via close to customer marketing and drive pan-eu activities together with affiliates. He/she will report the the European Brand Lead Lixiana.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

1. Drive cross-functional support of affiliates with accountability

  • Deliver content guidance to drive close to customer marketing
  • Constantly assess European brand strategy vs customer needs together with affiliates brand managers. Drive evolution of  messaging
  • Constantly increase customer effectiveness to drive overall brand performance to customer marketing
  • Deliver projects close to customer’s needs

 

2. Drive the implementation of the strategy

  • Drive the implementation of the brand positioning by the different functions
  • Drive the implementation of the brand value proposition
  • Deliver clear marketing tactics for the communicating the brand single Minded proposition

 

3. Drive development /implementation of  marketing programs and initiatives together with affiliates brand managers in integrity with rules and regulations    

  • Deliver marketing activities according to Brand Plan
  • Ensure compliance of activities to Brand Strategy
  • Ensure and measure customer impact via defined KPIs

 

 

Skills and additional requirements:

 

  • MBA life sciences or marketing degree
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years experience
  • Successful track record in Marketing/sales
  • Commercial experience, ideally in Cardiovascular
  • Hands-on proactive approach and accountability
  • Good communication and strong social skills
  • Experience to work in and lead cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in English - fluent written and spoken on top of country language
