For our Global ERP team in our headquarter in Munich, we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position 

Global Service Manager (f/m/x) Global ERP

 

Purpose of the function:

Are you ready to take the lead in managing global ERP application services for a dynamic, internationally-oriented company? We are seeking a Service Manager (m/f/x) Global ERP who will be responsible for overseeing the operation, performance, and enhancement of our ERP application services globally. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless service experience across various regions and functions, working closely with regional service managers and global ERP solution teams.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee global ERP applications including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other integrated solutions. Ensure high service quality, availability, and performance
  • Define and align SLAs, KPIs, and OLAs with global IT Service Management and Business Relationship Managers to meet business needs
  • Report on KPIs, OLAs, and SLA achievements, managing any violations or major service issues
  • Develop positive relationships with business peers and IT counterparts globally, collaborating on incident and problem management
  • Ensure efficient incident, problem, and change request handling within the global ERP support team, following standardized global processes
  • Propose measures for optimization for business processes based on experience and lessons learned
  • Review and assess new change requests, coordinating complex changes with relevant stakeholders
  • Create and maintain SAP applications training materials and documentation for service management areas
  • Manage coordination with external partners and resources for various projects or initiatives
  • Engage in planned audit activities, addressing any findings in collaboration with global ERP solution heads

 

Personal skills and professional experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • At least 5 years proven experience in IT service management, with a focus on ERP applications (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) preferably in a global environment

  • Strong customer and service focus with excellent presentation skills

  • Ability to analyze complex situations and propose solutions

  • Experience in managing relationships with internal business customers and external suppliers

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and conflict management skills

  • Prioritization skills and experience with SAP environments

  • Knowledge of GxP, SOX requirements, and business processes in logistics and supply chain

  • General understanding of SAP ECC/S4 HANA landscapes and support processes

  • Experience with Service Now and ITIL certification is preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international team environment with multiple priorities

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentations skills in English, German or any other European language is a plus
