Senior Director, HR Service Delivery Lead (m/f/x)
Purpose of the function:
This is an exciting hands-on delivery focused leadership role, where the role holder will create, oversee and lead the HR Service Delivery Model at Daiichi Sankyo Europe and Canada through operational excellence and the use of our Service Delivery Platform (ServiceNow).
She/he will lead our European/Canadian Centre of Expertise for HR administration processes and continuously improve service delivery practices by forming and leading the community of practice for HR Operations across our European countries.
The incumbent will be required to use their in-depth HR Operations knowledge and senior operational experience to drive best practices and progressive change. This will be a visible leadership role, working in partnership with HR Directors in Europe/Canada and senior business stakeholders, to deliver operational excellence and world class HR service.
The role will encompass all aspects of HR Operations, including the development of policies and guidelines and the broad understanding of managing complex employee enquiries. This is an exciting time to join the team as we implement our new service delivery model alongside global/regional tools and the successful candidate will play a leading role in this.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning, design and implementation of HR service delivery processes using ServiceNow
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR service delivery initiatives with organizational goals
- Manage and mentor HR team members across service areas
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the HR service catalogue
- Ensure proactive, customer-focused HR service in Europe and Canada
- Manage stakeholders to ensure quality delivery and to align on regional HR Service strategies with regional business goals
- Oversee HRIS data integrity, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Be the escalation point for HR queries with oversight of the HR inbox
- Analyze service metrics for continuous improvement, make recommendations for enhancements
- Lead change management initiatives related to HR service delivery, ensuring effective communication and training for all stakeholders
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in HR service delivery, with a focus on technology implementation and process improvement in an international environment
- Extensive experience (5+ years) with ServiceNow, particularly in HR Service Delivery modules; ServiceNow certification and/or SuccessFactors experience is a plus
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance regulations in Europe
- Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies preferred
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to drive change
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Fluent in English and German, any additional EU language is a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly within EU and occasionally to Japan and US
