IT Applications Service Manager HR (m/f/x)

The position:
 

The job holder is responsible for the seamless operation of our European IT Business Applications and Systems. The responsibility will cover full service management of vital business applications and systems in the area of Human Resources (HR), such as the SAP SuccessFactors system amongst others.
This position offers the opportunity to be the key responsible person for European HR IT Applications landscape. Based on the close collaboration with business peers, IT Business Relationship Managers, IT colleagues and other Service Managers within the team.
 

Key responsibilities:

• Take over responsibility as Service Manager for all IT Applications (existing and new ones) in the business area of HR
• Assure seamless operations in accordance with the defined service levels or define service levels where are non-present by taking over full responsibility for all service processes (incident, problem technical change management) including business continuity
• Work under ITIL framework
• Act as single point of contact for the European HR department, pick up their requirements and support the technical delivery of beneficial solutions
• Monitor system parameters and relevant interfaces (continuous health check)
• Responsible for service lifecycle management by preparation and attendance of release changes and patches in collaboration with the external provider
• Monitor, enhance and improve standard process for user support and authorizations (access right management)
• Follow the product developments, share information about new features and processes of relevant applications and systems to key users (explain/educate new processes)
• Actively support projects from technical perspective and changes by conversion of business requirements into technical implementation concepts and manage configuration activities by coordination with third party implementation partner and support technical testing
• Develop and maintain technical documentation at all times
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, external partners and vendors for relevant applications and system for all levels of issue resolution
• Ensure all internal IT governance processes are followed at all times (Changes and Service requests)

Professional experience and personal skills:

• Master or Bachelor degree
• 5 years or more experience with IT Service and Service Management, including Business IT Applications
• Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is essential
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German language required
• Ability to provide customer service through collaboration and partnership with both business peers and IT colleagues 
• In depth working knowledge of IT processes and systems preferably ITIL processes
• Experience supporting Business Applications both cloud based, on-premises and hybrid systems, including experience with basic platform configuration 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international team environment with multiple priorities
• Analytical, target oriented work style with KPIs and SLAs to be met
• Strong Vendor Management skills to ensure SLA and KPI are met
• Experience in a variety of data integration technologies – ETL, flat files, XML, SOAP, etc.
