Data and Analytic Solution Architect (m/f/x)

The position:

The job holder will be responsible for the technical planning, control and active support of data and analytics platform. You should enjoy developing projects and being part of challenging digitization projects.
You should have very good knowledge of the Microsoft Azure Platform and the PaaS and SaaS services relevant for data platforms and data analysis.
This is an opportunity for right person to join at the beginning of our Data and Analytics journey to influence the planning at an early stage of the new data and analytics platform.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, maintain analytics and data platforms technologies: Collaborating with IT and Business partners on defining, maintaining and safeguarding analytics related architecture governance; reviewing new and existing project architecture for compliance with architectural vision and roadmap; developing guidance on how to best use data analytics.
  • Enable effective data and analytics Infrastructure: Being responsible to design, develop, deploy the best feasible and most cost efficient IT solutions related to organisational data and analytics requirements; formulating rules, principles, standards and guidelines to guide implementation of effective solutions.
  • Secure data and analytic assets: Collaborating with IT and Business partners on defining, maintaining and safeguarding analytics related architecture governance; reviewing new and existing project architecture for compliance with architectural vision and roadmap; developing guidance on how to best use data analytics.
  • Drive Automation through effective metadata management: Be responsible for using innovative and modern tools, techniques and architectures to partially or completely automate the most-common, repeatable and tedious data preparation and integration tasks in order to minimize manual and error-prone processes and improve productivity. Also need to assist with renovating the data management infrastructure to drive automation in data integration and management.

Professional experience and personal skills:

  • Master or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related study (or equivalent project-related experience).

  • A minimum 5 years in IT, with at least two years in data infrastructure system design.

  • Experience of designing and implementing information solutions.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work well with internal IT and business teams and external partners

  • Firm understanding of data itself, data importing, cleaning and manipulation, as well as a business understanding and how data benefits organizational value chains.

  • Must have an excellent understanding of data warehouse methods and procedures and data architectures and technologies.

  • Have a track record of remaining unbiased toward specific technologies or vendors.

  • Be an excellent communicator and collaborator, engaging with multiple technical and business stakeholders and leaders.

  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.

  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.

  • Display intellectual curiosity and integrity.
