IT Solutions Architect (m/f/x)
 

Purpose of the function: 

We are looking for an innovative solution architect to develop and implement systems architecture that will meet business needs. The solution architect’s responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current software systems in place in order to identify areas in need of improvement, and overseeing development teams who could be either internal or external.
The job holder will design or modify systems architecture to meet certain business needs. They test, integrate, and program software systems to ensure that specific business issues are solved.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for technical platform set-up (tech design, creation of system architecture)
  • Manage Sandbox environment and cloud services incl. budget mgmt
  • Coordinate & provide infrastructure needed by the vendor / partner team, Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented
  • Manage interface of new solutions coming for PoC or as new demands from the business teams or their partners with the existing IT ecosystem (interoperability of the solution) and ensure sustainable integration
  • Resolving technical problems as they arise
  • Set-up operationalization for the developed solutions from maintenance, support, feedback integration to optimization
  • Collaborate with TechOwner to ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely and make recommendations
  • Take part in solution investigations, workshops and events orgainsed by digital transformation teams and support in finding solution to solve identified problems
  • Manage external data suppliers, partners and consultants            
  • Plan budget for  the management, maintenance, enhancements of the data infrastructure along with the line manager and the data solution architect            
  • Manage the data infrastructure budget
  • Work in close colloboration with the Data and DX team to support innovation and DX projects
  • Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed
  • Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets

  • Ability to analyze very complex situations in unknown environments
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex problems using non-technical terms 
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong collaboration and presentation skills
  • In-depth understanding of modern data and analytics tools, processes and cloud data Infrastructure
  • Prioritization skills and experience
  • Seniority in managing internal and external suppliers
  • Good knowledge of business processes and data needs in an organisation
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously 
  • Good knowledge of data governance, complience and security in particular GDPR
  • Experience of designing and implementing information solutions
