For our European headquarters in Munich we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position:

 

Launch Leader Bempedoic Acid (m/f/x)

 

The position:

The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure a successful launch of Bempedoic Acid by preparing the Brand, the company and the marketplace across Europe to achieve maximum results. He/she will define pan European Launch Strategy and implementation plan including pre Launch and Launch Marketing Strategy, Investment Budgets, Forecasts, Launch Strategy, Pricing Strategy. He/she will own the regional budget. He/she will lead of the Bempedoic Acid Launch Team, coordinating cross-functional and pan-european effort. The successful candidate will have a strong marketing track record in the healthcare industry. He /she will report to the head of cardiovascular marketing Europe.

 

Key responsibilites:

  • Overall accountability and responsibility for the BA Launch preparation
    • Is accountable for the Launch Plan
    • Works in a matrix and leads the X-functional Launch Team
    • Responsible for steering cross-functional and affiliate Launch preparation
    • Leads the BA Marketing Team
  • Responsible for developing of the Launch Strategy (including pricing together with market access)
    • Define clear positioning for the Brand based on customer insights (HCPs, payors, etc.)
    • Define the brand value proposition
    • Define clear Marketing Strategy for the Launch together with a clear single minded proposition
  • Ensures readiness of the organization to launch according to plan
    • Develop European Launch Plan including Launch sequence with all timelines and deliverables
    • Presents LRA to Steering committee for Challenge and agreement
    • Drives progress of the Launch Plan and ensure readiness in a quality and timely manner
    • Owns accountability for overall readiness
  • Ensures execution against Launch Strategy and Plan
    • Drives together with affiliate BA Launch lead seamless execution of the Launch Strategy and Plan
    • Focuses on driving delivery of core activities

 

Professional experience and personal skills

  • MBA or marketing degree
  • At least 11 years experience
  • Successful track record in Marketing
  • Commercial experience, ideally in healthcare (and/or consumer goods)
  • Hands-on proactive approach and accountability
  • Good communication and strong social skills
  • Experience to work in and lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Ability to work in English - fluent written and spoken, additional language is a plus
