Lead Europe Strategic Projects & Planning (m/f/x)
The position:
The Lead Europe Strategic Projects & Planning works directly with Head of Specialty Business Unit, HR & Finance Business Partners to coordinate the annual strategic and operating planning process and supports the efforts of the markets within Europe to deliver high quality plans, projects and deliver on financial commitments
Roles & Responsibilities:
Business Operations

Constantly improve and manage the interfaces among Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Partner Management and Digital as well as enabling functions

Monitor regional performance objectives. Work with members of regional Specialty Business Unit (SBU)-Leadership Team to develop needed measures and activities

Schedule/plan, support and facilitate business meetings, workshops, events for Head of SBU Europe
Project Management

Ascertain prioritisation of Region Europe projects and proposed ROI / value to the business

Manage agreed projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted framework

Set up and ensure implementation of holistic communications internally and externally for all initiatives ensuring full information of all relevant stakeholders
Leadership

Support Head of SBU regarding team development and Leadership measures based on own observations and feedback from the team together with Learning & Development department (L&D)

Plan and support workshops, trainings etc. based on agreed and aligned development needs together with L&D and Leadership Team

Insights

Support with relevant changes, developments and innovations regarding GTM models and strategies together with Digital department and Commercial team

Ensure regular insights into latest Medical and Health tech innovations, developments together with Medical Team and Digital and Commercial Team
Education & Professional Experience:
- Master's Degree
- Minimum 11 years of relevant work experience
- Country / affiliate experience is a plus
- PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma or similar professional project management certification
- Skills and additional Requirements
- Business experience, ideally in a management consulting and/or multinational environment, preferably pharma and/or biotech
- Results-oriented with solid project management capabilities
- Strong communication and influencing skills to gain credibility with a range of stakeholders
- Proven analytical strengths to drive decision making
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial Mindset and methods
- Technical functional/cross functional skills e.g. medical, marketing or commercial skills
- Technology and digital-savvy
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organization
- Discretion and the ability to deal with confidential information
- Fluency in English; other European languages are a plus
