For our European headquarters in Munich we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position:

 

Manager Learning & Development EU (m/f/x)

-limited until 10/2020-

 

 

The Position:

The job holder is responsible for supporting the Director, and other Learning & Development and Human Resources team members, in delivering high quality programs and services to Daiichi Sankyo businesses across Europe (DSE); specifically to work on the development and implementation of a Top Talent Program (TTP), Learning & Development Portfolio, Leadership Development Programs (LDP) and various other development initiatives.

Partner collaboratively and proactively as required with other departments, e.g., Workers' Councils, Procurement, Corporate Communications and Finance, etc.

Manage productive relationships with vendors and other external partners.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Director to operationally implement a Top Talent Program
    • Gather, coordinate, organize and validate all candidate nominations for the European TTP, and prepare the information for further evaluation and Talent Conferences
    • Schedule and handle the logistical management of Talent Conferences
    • Manage the communication of follow up and results with the Candidates and their Sponsors
    • Organize development programs for all levels of participants identified as Talents
  • Support the Director to design and operationally implement a Learning & Development Portfolio
    • Research various options to deliver high quality, self-directed learning and development solutions to a wide variety of clients across a geographically diverse organization
    • Work in close cooperation with the DSE Procurement and the L&D teams to provide the necessary information to complete an Request for Proposal (RFP) process to select vendors to provide products and services required to build the learning and development portfolio
    • Work in close cooperation with the DSE Information Technology, HR Information Services and Commercial Excellence teams to support the implementation of the learning and development portfolio
  • Support the Director to design and operationally implement different Leadership Development programs
    • Research various options to deliver high quality leadership development programs to various levels of leaders across a geographically diverse organization
    • Support the Director and other team members to design a holistic approach to leadership development across the organization
  • Support, and partner with other Learning & Development and HR Operations team members in delivering high quality programs and services to our business clients
    • On occasion, arrange and facilitate train-the-trainer sessions, focus groups, and partner with DS Affiliate (commercial) organizations to ensure that L&D programs are designed to meet business needs and achieve strategic business goals, and correctly implemented throughout the organization

    • Support other L&D and Know How Center team members as required

    • Work in close collaboration with the L&D, HR Operations, and Corporate Communications teams to ensure that all DSE leaders and employees across Europe are well informed on a timely basis of the status and roll-out of L&D programs and Services

 

Professional experience and personal skills:

  • University degree and 3-5 years of experience in an operational role, i.e., project or program management, in one or more of the following disciplines is preferred:
    • Talent management
    • Learning & development
    • Leadership development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with web-based software, and in particular, HRIS Enterprise Resource Planning software, preferably SAP and Success Factors.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Fluent in English and at least one other European language, German would be helpful.
  • Able to take direction on tasks and then work independently to complete them within the time required; work collaboratively in a diverse, team-based, cross-functional and matrixed environment
