Omnichannel Manager Oncology (m/f/x)

 

Position and Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Commercial Head Oncology Germany, the Omnichannel Manager's primary responsibility is the in-depth understanding of Digital Communication channels and matching Digital Communication Strategy to the strategic imperatives of our products as well as supporting the Brand Manager(s) in implementing the operational activities and driving the marketing content in the digital space.

 

  • Develop the strategy and deliver digital marketing items that best suits customer needs for Enhertu and future products in close collaboration with the Breast and Gastric Brand Managers and the European Brand Leadership
  • Support the Brand Managers in implementing the operational activities as well as the digital strategies
  • Develop a clear understanding of customers’ needs in Breast Cancer, digital trends and shape the strategic direction of Daiichi Sankyo Oncology Germany for each channel
  • Create customer engagement platforms and initiatives to drive product preference and usage via non-traditional sales and marketing tactics. (e.g. Campaign E-mails, E-detailing, virtual learning platforms, Portals, Apps)
  • Develop Multi-Channel Pull & Push strategies together with business marketing and sales stakeholders to increase value added programs & services beyond the Daiichi Sankyo representative and to achieve the sales objectives of new launches
  • Research & analysis of the digital landscape and the activities of the competitors, creating presentations and decision-making input within the scope of the European Brand strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other key team members and with external commercial partner to ensure that synergies are captured
  • Partnering with Marketing on execution of brand strategy, delivering channel insights and recommendations and leading tactical execution of digital strategies, brand campaigns and programs to drive operational effectiveness, business impact and meet objectives.
  • Participation in preparation of the marketing plan (closed-loop marketing, multichannel)
  • Coordination, implementation and further development of digital projects in compliance with schedule, costs and quality. Projects include and are not limited to websites, interactive conversation aids, emails, remote engagement, webinars/webcasts, apps, social media and search engine marketing.
  • Management of digital applications over their life cycle with maintenance, changes and extensions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business management, marketing, or related field; additional qualification / experience in Digital marketing is a plus
  • Several years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Prior marketing/commercial experience, ideally in oncology as a local Product Manager
  • Experienced in developing digital and Multichannel strategies and implementing solutions
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate effectively and push things through / across a matrix organization
  • Strong accountability with demonstrated ability to work in teams, ideally in a cross-functional environment, as well as autonomously without constant monitoring
  • Excellent project management capabilities
  • Innovation mindset & technology experience preferred
  • Flexible to changing priorities in a fast moving environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
  • "Hands on" mentality
