Regional Market Access Director Oncology Mid-size Countries (m/f/x)
The position:
The Regional Market Access Director Oncology Mid-size Countries (AT, CH, BE, NL, PT, IE, TK) supports the MSC leadership and Access teams in the development and implementation of the European Market Access strategies in MSC both for Daiichi Sankyo's Oncology multi-indication assets in Alliance with our partner AZ and for Daiichi Sankyo's only assets. This position reports to the Regional Business Unit Head Oncology MSC.
Roles and responsibilities:

Supports the MSC country leadership and Access teams in developing a local access and reimbursement strategy in line with the Alliance recommendations (European & Global)

Collects the needs of the affiliates in terms of data and information for optimal local access and reimbursement and supports the countries in acquiring them from the respective functions/stakeholders (Global, Region, Medical, internal vs external, etc.)

Support the countries in the development of business cases for pricing approvals and serve as liaison between the country and EU Regional OVAP/Global Pricing Committee for supporting the process and facilitating the discussion/approval of the case

Be the voice of the MSC countries with EU and Global price, reimbursement, HEOR& RWE and access regarding needs, challenges, feasibility, risks and opportunities

Develops a strong alignment and cross-functional collaboration with the MSC Leadership Team, the EU OVAP Team and EU Governmental Affairs

Shares relevant information and best practices across the MSC cluster and between MSC and major markets (specifically EU4, UK, Nordic cluster) in order to maximize the effectiveness of the local organization in access and reimbursement

Supports the local MSC leadership in developing, training and upskilling the local Access team

Effectively represents Daiichi Sankyo at major external meetings, including payer Ad Boards, internal workshops, and conferences
Personal skills and professional experience:

University degree (e.g., master’s degree in economics, pharmaceutical sciences, or similar level)

Relevant and demonstrable experience in Pricing & Market Access at country and above country level in a pharmaceutical company (or related such as medical devices); at least 8-10 years

Deep understanding Market Access needs in major markets (e.g. EU4 & UK)

Prior experience in working in Oncology portfolio is a plus

Experience in Alliances and multi-indication medicines is a plus
