For our European headquarters in Munich we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position:

 

Senior Manager Alliance Management (m/f/x)

 

 

The Position:

The successful candidate is responsible for the Alliance management of in-licensed products between relevant functions within Daiichi Sankyo Eurpe (DSE) and the Licensor in order to secure that all contractual rights and obligations are being met after contract signature. He/She reports to the Executive Director Export & Int. Sales. Furthermore he/she secures the Alignment within DSE for licensing out activities to make sure that all contractual obligations from the Licensor are implemented in the respective agreements with licensees. Also he/she will control the development of the in-licensed business and alignment within DSE.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the alliance between relevant functions within DSE and the Licensor and secure smooth implementation of In-License Agreements. As the first point of contact being responsible for scheduling meetings, setting agendas, preparing minutes within contractually agreed timelines
  • Lead project groups and cross functional teams within DSE related to in-licensed products to ensure a smooth, professional and productive collaboration
  • Review the commercial and economic development of in-licensed products for DSE and lead possible re-negotiations with Licensor of terms and conditions, e.g. revise commercial terms and expansion into other countries
  • Close alignment and consideration of strategies, business orientation and interests of DSE affiliates and partners
  • Responsible for monthly reporting on performance and possible deviations, forecasting and submitting budgets to the Licensor

 

Professional experience and personal skills:

  • University Degree in Economics and / or Science
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience
  • Knowledge and depth of expertise in Global Business Development
  • Solid expertise and experience of project management
  • Facilitator born with a business spirit
  • Ability to act and think interdisciplinary
  • Excellent communication skills and high level of intercultural competence
  • Fluent in English (oral and written), further languages would be appreciated
