Senior Manager European Talent & Leadership Development (m/f/x)

 

The position:

The job holder is responsible for the development and continuous improvement of European talent management programs and leadership trainings; this includes the design of a pan-European holistic approach of talent development and leadership to meet the demands of HQ and Affiliates, and supporting its timely and effective implementation. The incumbent works in close collaboration with the HR leadership team and Business Leaders, and coordinates with other DS business unit globally to ensure alignment of talent development & leadership strategies and practices.


Roles and responsibilities:

  • Support the Director to operationally implement a Top Talent Program

  • Leading the DS talent development and leadership initiatives in alignment with the overall company strategy to become a truly global company

  • Owning impact of talent development & Leadership, monitoring, reporting and acting to improve impact 

  • Profound consulting and business partnering experience 

  • Exercise influence and advocacy in a virtual matrix organization with stakeholders at different levels (local, regional, corporate and with our global colleagues in Japan and US)

  • Being a trusted partner towards HR Leaders, enabling the people plan through a robust talent and leadership plan

  • Effectively leading projects, and teams

Personal skills and professional experience:

  • > 8-10 years of experience in leadership / talent / organisation development

  • University degree in business psychology, human resources management or business management 

  • Strong project management skills

  • Experience partnering with senior leadership, and the ability to 'performance consult' in senior settings

  • Proven track record to drive impact in similar roles 

  • Strong intercultural collaboration competencies

  • A sense of autonomous judgement as what intervention will generate the greatest impact for our business, both immediately and/ or longer term

  • Fluent in English and German, other European languages appreciated (Spanish / French / English)

  • Proven learning agility, openness for new approaches

  • Travel within Europe required
