Senior Project Manager (f/m/x) - Human Resources



Position Summary

As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible to manage multiple projects and initiaties and lead teams to deliver HR project(s) that span across one or more business units and one or more European Countries. You support Daiichi Sankyo to

become a global Organisation and to establish a regional/ global HR framework.

You are a versatile HR project manager who is able to manage resources, deliverables, stakeholder and timelines in transforming and changing times and in a complex environment.


This role is initially limited to 2 years in the newly created group. The incumbent is reporting into the Head of European HR Strategy and Projects and is ideally based in Munich, Germany.




  • Manage and lead projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs/resources.
  • Steer and manage several projects and initiatives at the same time und never forget about interface with other projects.
  • Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes.
  • Translate cross-functional requirements and needs into concepts and processes.
  • Manage the change management process in order to drive faster adaption within in organization.
  • Ensure an appropriate stakeholder communication, sets up and maintain a communication plan for all initiatives.


  • Represent and co-establish the newly build European HR Strategy and Project Office as trusted PMO with high standards and strong internal customer focus.
  • Support internal HR teams in initiating projects and setting up projects and initiatives.
  • Co-Evaluate, co-plan and monitor projects within the portfolio in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Act as point of contact to other Regional and Global Project offices.
  • Definition and documentation of standards for project management processes and methods, taking into account existing mechanisms as well as new requirements.
  • Training and coaching of relevant employees regarding project standards, but also new tools and procedures



  • A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related fields
  • At least 6 years of relevant working experience within human resources and project management, thereof 2 years' experience in the consulting industry
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma or similar professional project management certification
  • Other relevant work or academic testimonals of transformation- and change management within VUCA and Agile environment
  • Process (Re-)Design experience with focus on automatization and User Experience are a plus
  • Results-oriented with solid project management capabilities and proactive mindset
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to gain credibility with a range of stakeholders across the organization
  • Proven analytical strengths to drive decision making
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Discretion and the ability to deal with confidential information
  • Fluency in English; other European Languages are a plus
