Senior Specialist Learning Solutions and LMS (m/f/x)

The position:

The role is part of our European Learning & Development team and contributes into further development of our digital learning solutions. 
It is the role of an experienced learning technologies professional, whose primary focus will be on consulting and operational activities around our current Learning management System (Sumtotal LMS), roll out of the new e-Learning programs in various formats and maintaining these. Maintenance and promotion of the integrated LinkedIn learning courses and supporting our Senior Manager Learning Solutions on various European and global projects related to digital learning in Daiichi Sankyo. The role is embedded in a multicultural working environment in our European headquarters in Munich and will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge in learning technologies as well as to grow expertise in digital learning processes and analysis.
 

Key Responsibilities 

 
•    Manage LMS administrative tasks and blended learning set-up.
•    Consult Daiichi-Sankyo European stakeholders and subject matter experts on the most appropriate and user-friendly solution in terms of e-learning publishing in LMS and roll-out to the appropriate audience, as well as document their requirements.
•    Publish, distribute, and maintain e-Learning programs as per documented requirements and perform the qualitative technical checks.
•    Lead European-wide LinkedIn Learning promotional campaigns and collaborate with various departments (e.g., Corporate Communications) as well as LinkedIn Learning representatives.
•    On request generate training completion reports, analyse training records, and distribute to appropriate recipients. 
•    Provide timely 1st and 2nd level user support through Daiichi Sankyo ServiceNow IT Support Portal, or when directly contacted by LMS users.
•    When required, be interface for the 3rd level support (Sumtotal LMS engineering team) and perform in-depth issue troubleshooting, technical and functional analysis, steps documentation in Sumtotal Support Portal, and directly collaborate with Sumtotal LMS engineers.
•    Manage external partner accounts and access levels, provide reports on request to partner management department.
•    Assist in research and test of new LMS features and functionalities that could enhance user experience. 
•    Create new documentation and update existing documentation for users and administrators, including manuals, tests, and video guides.
•    Develop, produce, and edit instructional videos utilizing Movavi video project software, focusing on workflows in LMS.
•    Use HTML knowledge to update and maintain system notifications to increase understanding and user response. 
•    Conduct qualitative checks/testing and provide feedback to tasks carried out by other LMS administrators.
 

Personal skills and professional experience:

•    Vocational Training or Bachelor degree related to HRIT, learning solutions, or similar 
•    Minimum 3 years previous work experience in similar role in a corporate environment, preferably in a multicultural environment
•    Proven experience (minimum of 2 years) working with Learning Management System, various e-learning formats and learning authoring tools. 
•    Technical mindset, strong skills with work related programs and apps, internet platforms and tools
•    HTML knowledge is a plus
•    Movavi or Camtasia video studio and/or other e-Learning authoring tools is a plus
•    Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
•    Proactive mindset and solution-oriented working style
•    Strong attention to detail and quality
•    Fluent in English language, written and verbal; other European languages, especially German would be helpful
