Commercial Associate


The Commercial Associate is responsible for various tasks in the organization to support Commercial activities of Daiichi Sankyo Nederland B.V.

The position has a solid reporting line to the Brand Manager Cardiovascular and a dotted reporting line to the National Business Lead.



Key  Responsibilities – Commercial Support


Marketing Support


  • Execution of various marketing projects following the Commercial plan, support Marketing in the implementation of multichannel strategies
  • Request and manage quotations for marketing campaigns, projects and services
  • Coordinating the development and production of promotional material
  • Obtaining approval, administration and follow-up of projects in the approval process
  • Archiving of proof copies from the approval process
  • Point of contact for the sales force with regard to marketing projects: among other things coordination and supervision of activities
  • Coordination, organization of / around (inter)national conferences and meetings; (in close cooperation with the S&A Assistant)
  • Attendance at inhouse/regional meetings
  • Introduction of new materials to the Customer Facing Role (CFR) with the corresponding strategy
  • Supporting that the CFR meets the agreed marketing deliverables
  • Have a good knowledge of the different systems in place used within the Marketing and Commercial team in order to be able to provide training to the CFR teams.
  • Budget Reporting: review the monthly budget for Marketing & Sales.
  • Lead communication and information processes between Office and territory. Communicate changes, new procedures and new initiatives in a comprehensive and positive manner to the CFR teams.


Support CFR Operational Excellence


  • Coordinate Educational events and Marketing campaigns in collaboration with the TAT’s (CFR’s)
  • Support the CFR’s in the implementation of Multi-Channel activities
  • Support the National Business Lead in monitoring activity and project execution via managing dashboards and implementation trackers
  • Supporting the National Business Lead to adequately manage the Accounts


Any other task, within the framework of Commercial support, which from time to time are necessary.


Professional experience and personal skills:


  • Education: Bachelor - Marketing/Business Degree
  • Experience: Marketing, Internship, Project Management
  • Presentation skills
  • Hands-on proactive approach and accountability
  • Good communication and strong social skills
  • Microsoft Office Professional knowledge
  • Language: Dutch and very good English skills – fluent written and spoken
  • Very well-structured, extremely reliable and self-employed mode of operation
  • Self-confidence and ability to work under pressure
