For our affiliate based in France (Rueil-Malmaison - 92) in a fast-growing medical department with an innovative portfolio, we are seeking  

A Medical Advisor Oncology (F/M/X) Breast Franchise

 

In your function you will supervise oncology medical plan strategy as a medical and scientific expert and report to the Head of the Medical Department.

 

The key responsibilities will include leading and executing the local medical plan

  • Set up the medical plan and define the methodology to evaluate medical benefit and risk in coordination with other departments (Market Access, Regulatory, Patient Safety, Marketing).
  • To be the medical expert act as a reference point for Marketing, Regulatory and Market Access teams for any scientific query or question when it is needed
  • Develop and execute an external stakeholder’s management plan in close collaboration and coordination with the respective cluster organization in Medical Affairs, Marketing and Market Access
  • Responsible to set up a local medical plan for pre-launch and launch products aligned with European and global strategic plan/vision in close collaboration with other involved departments
  • Responsible for medical-scientific projects and studies in the oncological field and medical customer service (including patient drug access programs)
  • Organization and participation in medical education activities: identify/support/educate speakers and set up medical trainings if needed
  • Set up competitive intelligence and follow new medical strategies, guidelines, environment changes and bibliographic review
  • Support Medical Affairs clinical activities strategy, planning, design and execution (in close co-operation with HQ and CROs) including RWD projects such as registries and other non-interventional Medical Affairs studies and patient centric projects
  • Ensure budgets, timelines, compliance requirements related to the medical plan projects and activities

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong scientific background with completed studies in the medical field of human medicine, pharmacy or human biology
  • Several years (2-3 years min) of experience as Medical Advisor in the pharmaceutical industry or life science environment required
  • Oncology knowledge highly preferred
  • Good knowledge and experience in managing scientific studies and medical projects (such as RWE projects, early access programs, medical education programs…) including the corresponding regulations
  • Good understanding of local health economy environment
  • Experienced in dealing with opinion leaders
