IT Solution Architect Supply Chain Operations (m/f/x)

Roles & responsibilities:

For our IT department, we are looking for an IT Solution Architect as an in-house consultant and service manager to support the productive operation of IT services in the area of supply chain operations as well as the optimization and further development of processes, services and interfaces at our production site in Pfaffenhofen/Ilm. The focus is on the areas of internal plant logistics in warehousing, shipping and production as well as technology and maintenance.

 

After appropriate training, the responsibilities will include the following areas:
 

  • Support the business process owners and key users in the area of supply chain operations in the analysis of requirements, the development of optimization options and the development of solution concepts for implementation
  • Implement new services in the above-mentioned areas
  • Carry out adjustments to existing services and coordinate external service providers
  • Take over project management for medium and larger projects
  • Support the specialist departments in test preparation and test execution
  • Responsibility for 2nd level support (incident and problem management) and support of service request management or organization and monitoring of these services by external service providers
  • Responsibility for monitoring processes and interfaces
  • Participate in the evaluation, execution and implementation of change control processes
  • Prepare the necessary documentation in a regulated environment (GxP)

 

Professional experience & education:

  • Completed studies in business informatics or comparable
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of service architecture and service management
  • Excellent German and English language skills are a must
  • Good knowledge of ITIL
  • Experience in the implementation and operation of IT services and ideally the management of external service providers
  • Very good understanding of the relevant processes in the area of supply chain operations and experience with the corresponding processes and procedures in a regulated environment (GxP)
  • Ideally good knowledge of SAP Logistics or Manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit
  • Independent and results-oriented way of working
  • Analytical and structured thinking
  • Enjoyment of complex tasks and a high degree of customer and service orientation
