For our development and production site in Pfaffenhofen/Ilm we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position:

Manager (m/f/x) CMO 

The position:

This position will be responsible for managing Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO) for Biologics from technical and production planning perspectives as a member of the Global CMO Management Team. Goals include assuring stable supply, project management as well as management of daily operations.
 

Roles and responsibilities:

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Manage long-range requirements and maintain strategic capacity and contingency plans at suppliers
• Monitor and manage all business continuity planning to reduce supplier risk
• Negotiate and manage supply agreements

Project Management:

• As the key coordinator of the Global CMO Management Team, manage projects like addition of manufacturing line of biologics, establishment of transportation, and technical transfer
• Being the central key account person in a complex environment among Global Headquarters, CMO and Affiliates
• Driving force in projects, get all related persons on the same page, harmonize communication, and increase reliability to solve all issues and end projects successfully

Performance Management:

• Develop annual business goals, monitor performance through KPIs, and provide feedback to internal and external partners
• Ensure customer service levels, inventory targets, financial targets, and cost reduction targets meet or exceed the plan   

Personal skills and professional experience:

• University degree or more in Pharmaceutical / Biological Sciences or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in production management of biologics in a pharmaceutical company is required 
• Knowledge about bioprocessing biologics (ADCs)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally within the Global environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and deliver to deadlines
• A team player, open minded, flexible, proactive, motivated, willing to learn and develop
