For our location in Pfaffenhofen/Ilm we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position:

 

Manager CMO Antibody Production (m/f/x)

Purpose of the function:          

This position will be responsible for managing Contract Manufacturing Organizations(CMO) for Biologics such as antibody and so on from technical and production planning perspectives as a member of Global CMO Management Team . Goals include assuring stable supply, and project management as well as management of daily operations. This cross-functional position will work with Global SC and all DSE functional units (Pharmaceutical Development, Transportation, Regulatory Affairs, QC, QA, Production, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Controlling etc.).                                                                                                                                        

Roles and responsibilities:

Project Management:
 

  • Manage as key coordinator from Global CMO Management Team projects like addition of manufacturing line of biologics such as antibodies, establish the transportation and technical transfer

  • Being the central key account person in a complex environment among Global Headquarters, CMO and Affiliates

  • Driving force in projects, get all related persons on the same page, harmonize communication and increase reliability to solve all issues and end projects successfully

 

Supplier Relationship Management:
 

  • Manage long range requirements and maintain strategic capacity and contingency plans at suppliers

  • Monitor and manage all business continuity planning to reduce supplier risk

  • Negotiate and manage supply agreements

 

Performance Management:
 

  • Develop annual business goals, monitor performance through KPIs, and provide feedback to internal and external partners

  • Ensure customer service levels, inventory targets, financial targets, and cost reduction targets meet or exceed the plan                                                                                       

Personal skills and professional experience:

  • University degree or more in Pharmaceutical / Biological Sciences or equivalent experience

  • At least a minimum of 3 years’ experience in production management of biologics in a pharmaceutical company

  • Knowledge of bioprocessing of biologics

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally within a global environment

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and deliver to deadlines

  • A team player, open-minded, flexible, proactive, motivated and willing to learn and develop

  • Excellent project management skills, experience with SAP R/3, Microsoft Office

  • Experience working in a global Organization in global projects, international experience is a plus

  • Ability to work in English - fluent English in written and spoken
