Project Buyer (m/f/x) 

-limited to 12 months-

 

Purpose of the function:

 

Procurement ultimate goal is to guarantee that DSE always receive both products and services in the required quality and the required time thus optimize DSE´s spend. Procurement leads and supports all procurement related processes and is the main responsible for the sourcing process.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

 

  • Contribute to Sourcing Projects and lead mid-range size projects with focus on production site in Pfaffenhofen 
  • Negotiate optimal terms and conditions with suppliers, leveraging know-how of the market and cost base of assigned categories to achieve e.g. economies of scale and synchronization with supply chain operations 
  • Manage the relationships towards vendors and internal customers ensuring contracts are established and negotiated to meet DSE´s customer requirements and objectives, and addressing expectations through proper performance measurement criteria
  • Develop and implement contractual agreements based upon e.g. HOAI and VOB, including clear KPI´s
  • Create & maintain Purchase Orders; Exception handling of transitions (MM & FI) 
  • Lease with Cross functional team for execution of multiple projects
  • Establish contingency plans to prevent potential shortcomings of suppliers or material disruptions
  • Participate in standardization and harmonization of processes and systems 
  • Contribute to Procurement success with savings, customer satisfaction, risk mitigation or fulfilling defined KPI´s (e.g. ROSMA)
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with DSE policies and procedures and: Act as a role model in compliance management and ensure that all employees involved in procurement activities are adhering to company policies and procedures as well as all relevant external regulations (e.g. GxP/ SOX/ Data Prot./ HCP Comp./ ToV, ...)
     

Personal skills and professional experience:

 

  • Bachelor degree or vocational business school, ideally with additional qualification in pharmaceutical or legal related
  • Preferably strong expertise and working history (> 5 years) in relevant pharmaceutical sourcing category: Construction Services, Facility and Manufacturing Equipment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, open for all business relevant topics and willingness to challenge as is process in order to add value
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with contract & legal knowledge
  • Interpersonal and intercultural understanding and Customer service orientation
  • A integer team player with very good communication skills and achievement orientation
  • IT Tools: MS Office, SAP MM, eSourcing and affinity to digital tools and IT
  • German (mandatory), English
