We are actively seeking highly qualified individuals to take on the pivotal role of Project Buyer (m/f/x) Procurement in our dynamic Pfaffenhofen site. As a Project Buyer m/f/x), you will play an important role in shaping category strategies and leading sourcing activities to secure the best value for our company. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute sourcing and purchasing activities for our Pfaffenhofen Plant  

  • Support cross-functional departments to identify relevant market players

  • Lead sourcing initiatives and ensure vendors selected answer business needs 

  • Negotiate optimal terms and conditions with selected suppliers 

  • Develop and implement contractual agreements (result driven)

  • Manage relationship with vendors (supplier relationship management) 

  • Control that sourcing activities have been performed as per internal regulations (i.e. compliance checklist) and ensure gaps are resolved 

  • Create and maintain the process from Purchase Orders until goods received 

  • Proactively identify exceptions and ensure proper approvals are obtained 

  • Drive efficient standardization and harmonization of processes in Procurement 

  • Participate to the execution of the Procurement monitoring activities

  • Contribute to Procurement's success with regards to savings, customer satisfaction, risk mitigation and/ or fulfilment of defined KPI´s (e.g. ROSMA)

  • Conduct all activities in accordance with DSE policies & procedures as well as all relevant external regulations (e.g. GxP/ SOX/ Data Prot./ HCP Comp.)                        

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or vocational business school

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus 

  • Strong execution and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to completion 

  • Organized, committed, pro-active and working autonomous under pressure

  • Robust negotiation skills combined with basic contract and legal knowledge

  • Team player with very good communication skills (intercultural competency)

  • Strong problem-solving skills toward solutions and customer orientation

  • Analytical skills, highly reliable and a distinct aptitude to work accurately 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP MM, eSourcing

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English and German
