To supplement our team for the launch of a novel and innovative product portfolio based on proprietary ADC technology, we are currently looking for an experienced and committed colleague to join us as

MSL - Medical Scientific Liaison Oncology (f/m/d, 100%)
Territory: Romandie, Canton Bern, Canton Tessin

The MSL is a field-based role which demonstrates mastery and innovation in the ability to develop ongoing professional relationships with national and regional healthcare key experts and with the internal cross functional team. He/she initiates and drives field medical initiatives, provides medical and scientific support for Daiichi Sankyo company initiatives in the therapeutic area of Oncology. In this role you will work closely with healthcare professionals and decision-makers as a medical and scientific expert and first point of contact in alignment with our brand strategy. Your activities will focus on Oncology, and the products and services developed by Daiichi Sankyo and marketed in Switzerland. You will report to the Country Medical Manager Oncology.

 

Your role and responsibilities

  • Liaising with key experts and medical centres to enhance cooperation with Daiichi Sankyo, as well as acceptance and advocacy of Daiichi Sankyo contributions to advancing medical practice (products, evidence and services) within the scientific community
  • Supporting the development and implementation of global and local clinical trials and registries
  • Improving Daiichi Sankyo’s capabilities by enabling effective decision-making in terms of clinical knowledge, customer engagement, brand performance and competitive intelligence
  • Close cooperation and coordination with Medical Affairs as well as cross-functional cooperation with Marketing, Sales and Market Access
  • Concept, budgeting, initiation and supervision of regional and national medical and scientific education events
  • Reactive and compliant medical information request management
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with the applicable laws, rules ,regulations and internal standard procedures

 

Your qualifications

  • A solid and proven scientific background with a university degree, preferably in human medicine, pharmacy or a PhD in Natural Sciences
  • Proven MSL and/or field force experience is mandatory, preferably in Oncology
  • Good knowledge and experience in managing scientific studies and medical projects, including all applicable regulations and knowledge of the regulatory framework of the pharmaceutical market in Switzerland
  • Strong communication, presentation and discussion facilitation skills in French, German and English
  • Ability to prioritise and work independently, pro-active self-starter with a hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial flair; interpersonal and intercultural skills; flexible and strong team player
